The Right of Public Access in many languages

Last reviewed: ‎09‎ ‎December‎ ‎2024

To make the Right of Public Access easier to understand, we offer information in several different languages.

Here, you can learn about what the Right of Public Access means and what rules apply when you are out in nature. The information is free and helps you enjoy nature responsibly.

The Right of Public Access gives us the freedom to be in nature – picking berries, walking in the forest, paddling, and exploring Sweden's landscapes, as long as we show respect for animals, nature, landowners, and other people.
