For suppliers

Do you want to become a supplier or are you an existing supplier to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency? Here we collect all the information you may need to know.

The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency is a contracting authority under the Public Procurement Act. We annually procure goods and services for approximately SEK 400 million, from Facility Management and IT systems to consultants in a wide variety of areas.

The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency uses the digital procurement tool TendSign. All advertised procurements are found in the OPIC database (see below). If the value of the procurement exceeds the so-called threshold, it is also advertised in the joint EU advertising database, the Tenders Electronics Daily (TED).

You find further information about procurements and the Public Procurement Act on the website of the National Agency for Public Procurement.

If the page under “Ongoing procurement” is empty, there are no ongoing procurements. Information on how to access the full procurement document can be found under the respective procurement.

Planned procurements

If the page under “Planned procurements” is empty, there are no planned procurements listed as for now.

Details on the planned procurements can be found under the respective procurement.

The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency has several ongoing Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS) with the possibility for new suppliers to join. Foreign suppliers are welcome to join our DPSs, but please note the documents are usually written only in Swedish.

A DPS is similar to a framework agreement, but with the major difference that it is possible for new suppliers to join the DPS throughout the duration of the system.

When a procurement takes place within a DPS, an invitation to tender is sent to all qualified suppliers within the DPS, who are given the opportunity to submit tenders. Suppliers are not bound to respond to each individual tender invitation but submits tenders when they have the opportunity.

How to register for a DPS:

  • Click on the heading "Ongoing procurements" on this page and click on the link "Ongoing procurements".
  • You are then linked to TendSign, where you find the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's current procurements, but also the Dynamic Purchasing Systems, as is evident from the headlines including “Dynamisk Inköpssystem”.
